This position involves providing acute care in a 25-bed Emergency Department within a facility that manages a diverse patient population, including trauma and cardiac cases. The role requires delivering high-quality emergency nursing services while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Position Description: Provides emergency nursing care in a 25-bed Emergency Department specializing in trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and orthopedic cases.
• Required Qualifications: Emergency Room (ER) nursing certification, TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support); no minimum years of experience required.
• Schedule: Evenings shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma, cardiac, or orthopedic care; triage experience.
• Additional Information: The unit is family-oriented, manages patient ratios of 1:5, and utilizes Meditech electronic health records. Scrubs should be navy or black, with only hospital T-shirts allowed.
