This position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care within the organization's surgical unit. The role requires collaborating with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes during operative procedures, with a focus on maintaining strict adherence to clinical protocols and standards.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Certifications & Education Requirements: BCLS certification, valid state license.
• Experience required: 1 year of OR nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy, appendectomy, hernia repair, total joint replacement, and robotic surgeries including gynecologic, urologic, and general procedures.
• Responsibilities include assisting with surgical procedures across multiple specialties, maintaining sterile techniques, and ensuring patient safety throughout operative interventions.
• Must be capable of working at least one Saturday shift every six weeks and participating in on-call shifts as scheduled.
• Flexibility to float to adjacent units or facilities as needed.
• Candidates must include RTO (Reasonable Time Off) requests at the time of submission, and be prepared to work during specified holidays if scheduled.
• References: Two references covering at least one year (six months for CNAs) within the last three years are required prior to start.
