Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Located in the vicinity of Burbank and Pasadena, this position involves delivering specialized nursing care to critically ill patients within a busy healthcare facility. The ICU RN will coordinate patient care, supervise nursing staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred; ICU or acute care facility experience Preferred; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice Required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor Required; 1 year of experience in nursing.
Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week minimum.
Essential Functions: Collects relevant patient data, analyzes assessment data, develops and implements care plans, coordinates care delivery, evaluates progress, and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers. Provides education to patients and their families, participates in discharge planning, delegates tasks appropriately, and performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Information: This role requires employment in an acute care hospital setting, with an emphasis on critical care nursing and patient safety.
