Job Summary
An Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse is needed in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing critical care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, with an emphasis on managing complex medical conditions, including trauma, sepsis, and respiratory failure, utilizing specialized skills and certifications.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Education Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience is preferred, with valid state license (compact license acceptable) required.
• Location Requirements: Candidates must be within 50 miles of the facility.
• Experience: 0 years minimum experience required.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include assisting with chest tube insertion/removal, managing ventilated patients, stroke management, hypothermia protocols, ICP monitoring, infection prevention, and operating special equipment such as Lifts in all patient rooms.
• Additional Unit Details: The unit supports interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services.
• Candidates must provide two references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years.
• Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities. Refusal to float may result in contract termination.
• No contact with facility directly unless for interviews as scheduled by account managers.
• Modules are non-billable and must be completed prior to start and during orientation.
