Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized care for critically ill adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, with responsibilities including managing patient acuity, utilizing advanced medical equipment, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams during night shifts.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Education Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent; valid State license with a compact license must be in hand at submission
• Required experience: 0 years, with at least 1 year of relevant ICU experience preferred
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Additional Information:
  • Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Care of Ventilated Patient, CVA/Acute Stroke management, Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun*, ICP monitoring*, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Post Neurosurgery management, Spinal cord injury, Surgical ICU, Traumatic Brain injury*
  • Candidates must respond to employment screening questions regarding previous work at a Providence facility, including locations and dates worked.
  • References: Two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years, prior to start.
  • Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities.
  • Candidates should not contact facility contacts directly unless for an interview arranged through the agency.
  • Modules are non-billable and must be completed pre-start and during orientation.
