Job Details

• Position Description: Delivers patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Administers medications and monitors patient responses. Provides education and guides ancillary personnel while adhering to hospital policies and standards. Maintains accurate patient records and communicates assessment data effectively. Demonstrates proficiency as a charge nurse and in computerized nursing informatics. Participates in quality improvement activities and safety protocols.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; current Registered Nurse licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification; successful completion of the hospitals Pharmacology exam; attendance at a Fetal Monitor Course within the past two years (intermediate or advanced); current certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); recent Obstetrics experience within the last two years; proficiency in English; minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
• Schedule: Rotating shift schedule with 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/26/2026 and ending on 01/23/2027.
• Additional Information: Candidates should demonstrate ongoing professional development, safety adherence, and effective communication skills. Certification in Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) is preferred.
