Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Utilization Review Extension (UR EXT) specialist for a remote position. This role involves conducting utilization management activities, requiring collaboration with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate patient care and resource utilization. The position is a temporary assignment scheduled to start on October 26, 2026, and conclude on January 23, 2027.

Job Details

Position: Utilization Review Extension (UR EXT)
Shift: Days, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with every fifth weekend rotation
Schedule: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Two years of experience in utilization management, experience with healthcare providers, proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) such as Epic, and utilization management tools like Dragonfly. Must be computer literate, experienced with remote work, and have a degree accreditation verification or five years of related experience. CCM or CMCN certification is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience.
Additional Information: This role requires working remotely with a focus on utilization management activities. All candidates must submit complete demographic information at the time of application, including address, email, full date of birth, full Social Security number, and license number. RTO requests must be included at submission; requests will not be approved after submission. The position involves floating as required, with travelers being prioritized for floating to other sister campuses.
