Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse, Texas This specialized nursing role involves providing comprehensive obstetric care during antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases for patients in a hospital setting. The position requires delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety and compliance with hospital policies and the state Nurse Practice Act.

Job Details

• Certifications: Current Texas or compact state license, BLS, Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Education & Experience: No minimum years of experience required, but travel experience with at least 2 years of prior travel assignments is preferred.
• Location Requirements: Must hold a current Texas or compact state license.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include providing obstetric and neonatal care in accordance with hospital policies, maintaining clinical competencies via continuing education, delegating patient care, and supervising assigned personnel delivering patient care.
• Submission Requirements: All travel submissions must include at least 2 years of experience along with prior travel experience. No local candidates will be accepted.
