Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in South Dakota. This role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care in an acute hospital setting, focusing on patient assessment, establishing care objectives, and providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families. The position requires coordination with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality emergency care.

Job Details

• Position Description: Delivers nursing care by developing a nursing diagnosis; establishing nursing care objectives; defining nursing interventions; providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends to understand patient conditions, medications, and self-care skills; noting changing conditions and needs; re-evaluating care objectives.
• Required Qualifications: Current ER registered nurse experience of at least 2 years in an acute hospital setting; active South Dakota or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license; active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS); active American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification; COVID-19 vaccination.
• Schedule: Rotating shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Applicants must submit a resume with all facilities listed, an skills checklist specific to the ER discipline, and two supervisory references from within the last year. Certification documentation includes active South Dakota or Compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, and TNCC.
