Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing patient care in an inpatient rehabilitation unit that serves adults and geriatrics with various diagnoses, including stroke, neurological diseases, and critical illnesses. The role requires adhering to unit policies, including a no-artificial nails policy, and supporting team operations during assigned shifts.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, and the ability to pass a pass/fail exam during orientation.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibility and duties: Deliver patient care in a unit caring for adults and geriatrics with diverse neurological and critical illnesses; collaborate with nurse aides and charge nurses; complete classroom and on-unit orientation; comply with policies including RTO requests and dress code standards.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be proficient in communication, organization, teamwork, and problem-solving. Float to medical-surgical units may be required. RTO requests are limited to seven or fewer days per 13-week contract and must be made upfront; additional RTO will not be approved. Entered on 11/20/2023.
