Medical Surgical Float (MS FLOAT) for the healthcare facility located in the area. This position involves providing patient care within a Medical Surgical unit, working as part of a team to deliver quality care to diverse patient populations. The role requires flexibility to float across units and adapt to various clinical settings.

Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for assisting with patient assessments, nursing interventions, and documentation in accordance with clinical standards and protocols. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment with surgical and medical patients, including those with diagnoses such as CHF, CVA, SOB, diabetic issues, and post-operative care for total joints, fractures, bariatric, urology, and general surgeries.
• Required Qualifications: BLS Certification; Minimum of 2 years of current Medical Surgical nursing experience; Active RN license; Flexibility to work scheduled shifts; Location in the specified area.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, working days, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The position may require float to various units within the facility, adherence to dress code with any scrub color, and participation in unit-specific orientation. The contract duration is from 10/19/2026 to 01/18/2027, with shifts scheduled on weekends and every other holiday, including call or standby requirements.
