Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Specialty Nurse Location: unspecified. This role involves providing acute care at a Level 1 Trauma Center in a fast-paced emergency setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, supporting trauma and pediatric cases, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details

• Position Description:
  The ER Nurse will be expected to handle trauma, burns, and pediatric transfers, with responsibilities including maintaining sterile fields, performing Foley catheter insertions, and central line dressing changes. Must be comfortable reading monitors and managing ventilators.
• Required Qualifications:
  Candidates must hold valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, possess a license to submit, and have a minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience.
• Schedule:
  12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, including four weekend shifts per month.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  Certification in TNCC and ATCN is preferred but not required.
• Additional Information:
  Travelers will undergo a pass/fail skills examination on day 1, with specific focus on sterile technique and clinical procedures. The unit has a patient care ratio of 1:4, with in-house physician coverage available 24/7. The position involves float assignments between multiple facilities, including sister campuses and FSED locations, requiring travel within a 50-mile radius.
• Submission Requirements:
  Candidates must be available to start on 10/26/2026 and commit through 01/25/2027.
