Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse Iowa. This role involves providing comprehensive care for a diverse patient population in a medical-surgical unit with telemetry monitoring. It requires adaptability to multiple unit settings and collaboration with healthcare teams to support patient recovery and safety.

Job Details

• Shift Time: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Iowa or compact/multistate Nursing license, BLS certification, 24 months of current Med Surg / Medical Surgical / Med Surg Tele experience, proficiency in caring for all patient types, experience with Heparin, skills in telemetry/cardiac, and precepting experience is a plus.
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience, experience with EPIC electronic medical record system, and hostile to first-time travelers; a minimum of one travel assignment completed within the past 18 months is required.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to extend beyond the initial 13-week assignment. Flexibility to float across multiple campuses and holidays is required. Submission of work history, professional references, valid drivers license, and certification documentation is necessary.
• Submission Requirements: Quick interview process via phone call or text from a 405 area code, with orientation scheduled on 10/26 and 11/9; sooner start dates will be prioritized.
