Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location: Not specified. This position involves providing critical care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. The ER nurse will manage patients with a wide range of urgent and trauma-related conditions, ensuring patient safety and quality of care.

Job Details

• Certifications: CPI (NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training course), NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, BLS & ACLS required.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program, BSN highly desired.
• Licensure: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district.
• Experience: 3 years of emergency room experience required; 0 years of experience minimum.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include managing critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tube management. Patients range from urgent care, psychiatric, pediatric, to critical care/trauma cases.
• Additional Information: The ED is a fast-paced environment that treats a diverse patient population, requiring coordination and delivery of complex nursing care to ensure safety and a positive patient experience.
