Job Summary
ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Cardiovascular Nurse Location unspecified. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in a specialized critical care setting. The role requires delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to adult patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring patient safety and positive outcomes.

Job Details

Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification is required. Experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months in the specialty area is preferred.
Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care, review diagnostics and laboratory data, review and revise plans of care, document assessments and interventions, and promote continuous improvement in nursing quality indicators. Provides supervision to licensed and non-licensed personnel as applicable, and interacts with all levels of healthcare team members, patients, and families, ensuring coordinated and comprehensive care.
Additional Information: Weekend and holiday rotations are required. There may be support needs involving call and floating to support units.
