Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) in a high-acuity healthcare setting. This role requires experienced registered nurses to provide critical care for patients with complex conditions such as heart transplants, LVAD support, and post-surgical cardiac patients. The position involves working in a busy, Level 1 trauma environment with a focus on patient stability and advanced monitoring.

Job Details:

• Position Description:

  • RN needed for a fast-paced, high-acuity ICU with 8 to 12 beds.
  • Candidates must be open to floating, flexible scheduling, and working nights.
  • Experience or familiarity with CRRT is preferred but will be trained.
  • Prior experience in a busy hospital environment, with at least 3+ years of related experience and previous travel assignments, is ideal.
  • Daily parking available at $15+, with multiple garage options.

• Required Qualifications:

  • Active ACLS, BLS certifications; NIHSS certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years ICU experience required.
  • Must be willing to wait for license submission.
  • Current RN license in good standing.

• Schedule:

  • Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with at least 36 hours per week.

• Additional Information:

  • Unit utilizes EPIC charting system.
  • RT presence 24/7 with equipment like vents, Cpap, BiPap, and monitor techs managing strip reading.
  • Staff required to work 6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks, and any willing to work holidays.
  • First to float based on competency, with teal scrubs.
  • 2-3 shifts of unit-specific orientation with preceptors.
  • Shifts run from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. starting 10/05/2026, ending 01/04/2027.
