Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a healthcare facility setting, providing specialized perioperative patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This role involves managing surgical cases that include trauma, robotics, orthopedics, plastics, and high-risk cesarean sections, with a focus on maintaining sterile technique and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams during complex procedures.

Job Details

• Location: Not specified
• Schedule: Night shifts, Sundays-Tuesdays, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS Certification; minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience; current nursing license willing to wait for submission. Pass/fail exam on day 1 of orientation; experience with trauma, orthopedics, and robotics required
• Responsibilities include circulating, scrub roles preferred, sterile field maintenance, and performing wound care, lifts, restraints, and other patient care tasks as needed
• Additional Information: Candidates must pass SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion, demonstrate competency in sterile techniques, and be adaptable to orientation and team collaboration. Experience with Cerner and Surginet EMR systems preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required if skilled in lithotripsy, with flexibility to float to different campuses as needed
