Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Location: Not Specified. This role involves providing urgent and critical care in a busy emergency setting. The ER nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care across a variety of trauma and medical cases.

Job Details

• Position Description: ER nurses will manage patients with diverse, urgent medical needs, including trauma, CVA (Stroke), MI (Myocardial Infarction), high-risk obstetrics, psych holds, and pediatric stabilization and transfer. The role involves working in a 31-bed ER with a focus on acute care.
• Required Qualifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, minimum two years of ER/Trauma experience, and certification/license to submit. Shift hours vary, including day, mid, and night shifts, with a schedule of 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Moderate conscious sedation competency testing is required.
• Additional Information: The ER handles a high volume of critical cases, including MVAs, GSWs, CVA, MI, and high-risk obstetrics. Staff must be flexible with shift start times, and float between Gilbert and Chandler ER locations may be required. Candidates are expected to work every other weekend and two out of three major holidays. Orientation includes 2-3 days on the floor, and hospital-specific protocols, including charting with Cerner.
