Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse position in a healthcare facility. This role involves coordinating and providing comprehensive nursing care for patients presenting to the Emergency Department across all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric. The RN performs all aspects of direct patient care, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and ensures efficient patient flow and optimal outcomes.

Job Details

• Position Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering all levels of patient care within the Emergency Department, including performing age-appropriate assessments, triage using the Emergency Severity Index (ESI) 5-level triage process, documenting accurately, and collaborating with other healthcare providers and ancillary services.
• Required Qualifications: Two-year degree in nursing required. Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Registered Nursing license or active Compact Licensure. Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications required. Experience: 2+ years in a relevant role.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Responsible for monitoring life support and automated technical equipment, performing treatments, including medication administration, emergency resuscitation protocols, and inserting/parenteral fluids. Responds calmly in high-stress situations, participates in educational activities, and maintains documentation proficiency.
