Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Marquette, Michigan. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients within a 225-bed specialty care hospital. The role focuses on critical thinking, decisive judgment, and working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must have Michigan State License and at least 2 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience on a medical/surgical unit is preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit profile includes adult and geriatric patient population ages 18-125 with patient ratios of 5:1 to 6:1.
  • Equipment used includes telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pump, bladder scanner, and Dynamaps.
  • EHR system used is Cerner.
  • Dress code requires scrubs in Galaxy Blue or Navy.
  • Tattoos must be covered, excessive jewelry avoided, and fingernails kept clean and short.
  • Critical skills include the ability to handle stressful environments and make appropriate clinical decisions independently.
  • The position is a replacement role for permanent staff, with an upcoming start date of 09/27/2026, concluding on 12/27/2026.
  • Must have MI license already.
