Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse Night Shift Location: not specified. This role involves providing individualized, holistic patient care in a specialized setting. The RN will perform nursing assessments, develop care plans, and collaborate with healthcare teams to promote quality outcomes and patient advocacy.

Job Details

• Licensure: CA RN license
• Certifications: CPR, NIHSS
• Education: At least three years recent RN experience working in an RN role; at least two years recent RN experience in a specialty area; BSN or ADN required
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Additional Skills: Nursing process, individualized assessment, planning, nursing interventions, patient and family advocacy, adult-learning theory, therapeutic relationship, healthcare team coordination, delegates/assigns care, documentation, patient care conferences
• Responsibilities: Provides safe, therapeutic care to a designated group of patients, supports patient and family advocacy, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and manages complex/high-risk clinical situations.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
