Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse Location: Not Specified. This role involves providing safe, therapeutic, and patient-centered care to individuals in a specialized clinical environment. The RN will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with healthcare team members to promote optimal health outcomes.

Job Details

• Certifications: California Registered Nurse license, CPR, NIH
• Education: At least three years of recent RN experience working in an RN role, with at least two years in a specialty area; BSN or ADN required
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Additional information: The RN will care for a diverse patient population with individualized assessment and intervention needs. The position may require float duties to PCU units, lower levels of care, or other facilities. Responsibilities include healthcare team coordination, documentation, and patient/family advocacy. Clinical skills include nursing process, individualized assessment, planning, interventions, and patient care conferences.
