Job Summary
Operating Room Nurse in North Carolina The organization is seeking a dedicated Operating Room Nurse to provide high-quality surgical nursing care in a hospital setting. This position involves coordinating and delivering patient care, participating in patient assessment, and supporting intraoperative activities to ensure safe and efficient surgical procedures.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing; licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (AHA or ARC); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); 0 years of experience required.
• Demonstrates competence in care of patients with complex problems, including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety aspects of care.
• Performs bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plan.
• Utilizes healthcare organization and nursing standards, policies, and procedures in delivery of care.
• Assesses data from complex situations to determine priorities for care, including assessment of discharge needs and safety considerations.
• Collaborates with patient and family to update the plan of care using available multidisciplinary resources and considering cultural and ethnic issues.
• Reads journals that contain studies or articles applicable to practice and brings ideas and questions for assessment of applicability.
• Must have previous Operating Room experience with the ability to circulate for C-sections and triage for OB.
• Must have current and active Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification completed through AWHONN or GE at time of submission.

Additional Information
REQUIRED - current and active Intermediate Fetal Monitoring completed through AWHONN or GE at time of submission 36/hr contract only. Must be able to circulate C-section procedures and triage for OB.
