Job Summary
Dialysis Nurse, Dialysis Unit, available in a healthcare facility. This position involves performing hemodialysis treatments in the dialysis unit, serving adult and pediatric patients with end-stage renal disease or acute kidney injuries. The role requires delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS (AHA); minimum 1 year of dialysis experience including peritoneal dialysis and plasmapheresis; valid license to submit; no specific location required; experience requirement: 0 years
• Schedule: Monday through Saturday, dayshift with a combination of 8 and 12-hour shifts to meet a total of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must have dialysis experience, must have peritoneal dialysis experience and plasmapheresis.
• Additional Information: Perform Hemodialysis treatments in the dialysis unit; team-based care with 6-7 nurses daily and on-call coverage for winter holidays. The role includes orientation with three shifts and compliance with dress code in royal blue and white scrubs. The EMR system is Epic.
• Responsibilities include providing patient care, using appropriate clinical protocols, and adhering to safety standards. Candidates must be flexible to float as first float.
