Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurse located in the specified region. This role involves caring for adult patients with various diagnoses, including congestive heart failure, diabetes, pneumonia, and chronic kidney disease, within a telemedicine-equipped hospital unit. The successful candidate will work primarily day shifts, providing essential patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Position Description: Transitioned to Virtual Integrated Care nursing model (VIC). Must adhere to assigned schedule; block scheduling is not available.
• Patient Population: Cpap, Bipap, and high-flow patients on an adult Medical Surgical Telemetry unit.
• Certifications & Experience: BLS certification; minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required.
• Clinical Responsibilities: Read strips, monitor patients, and provide bedside care.
• Operational Details: Includes working with PCTs, float to all medical/surgical units including possible care for telemetry holds prior to transfer.
• Schedule & Requirements: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, holidays required, float to all med/surg units including PCU if needed.
• Additional Information: RN's are required to read strips, work with tele monitor techs, and adhere to the unit-specific orientation.
• Licensing & Certification: Must hold an active license and be willing to wait for license submission.
