Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurse positions are available at the facility. These roles involve providing care to adult and geriatric patients, with responsibilities including management of complex clinical conditions and telemetry monitoring at the hospital setting. The positions require flexibility to float within scope of practice across multiple units.

Job Details

• Position: MS TELE Nurse
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a schedule of 3 nights per week from 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: CA Registered Nurse (RN) License; ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; 2 years of clinical experience; previous charge experience, patient ratio experience of at least 5, and charting system experience in Epic.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in community hospitals, LTAC, trauma level I or II, travel experience, and skills including BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line care/management, chest tube management, CVA care, ER holding, feeding tube management, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula, dysrhythmia interpretation, PPE, IV insulin protocols, management of dysrhythmias, non-invasive airway management, neuro and ortho trauma, oxygen administration, PCA, PICC line management, dialysis, neurosurgery, spinal cord injury, IV placement, surgical drains, telemetry (including remote monitoring), insulin titration, total joint replacement, tracheostomy care, traumatic brain injury, rapid response/code team use, and wound care.
• Additional Information: Will float to multiple Medical Surgical and Telemetry units within scope of practice; must complete mandatory modules during orientation; on onboarding, labs to be completed within 3-5 days; 7-year work history verification required; no separation time for returning staff.
• Submission Requirements: Valid CA RN license uploaded within last 2 weeks, applicable certifications uploaded with expiration dates, and two references from within the past year.
