Job Summary
Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within an acute care setting for interventional radiology procedures. The role requires clinical expertise in trauma and emergency response, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: Responsible for supporting interventional radiology procedures, including pre- and post-procedure patient care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); valid license to submit; COVID-19 pandemic licensure approval; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a relevant setting.
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts during days, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with on-call and holiday coverage.
- Additional Information:
- Orientation sessions scheduled on 10/19 and 11/2.
- The assigned unit is an Interventional Radiology department within an acute care setting.
- Call responsibilities include one full week of call per month, starting at 5:00 PM Monday and ending at 7:00 AM the following Monday. Weekday call begins at 5:30 PM daily until 7:00 AM; weekend call from 7:00 AM Saturday to 7:00 AM Monday.
- The assignment duration is from 10/19/2026 to 01/18/2027, with flexibility for cancellation up to 4 shifts per 13-week period or 3 shifts for shorter assignments.
