Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location not specified. This position involves providing specialized critical care to trauma, neuro-stroke, head injury, ventriculostomy, and ICP monitoring patients within a fast-paced ICU environment. The role requires experience with ICP monitoring and ventilator management, with the ability to work independently in a dynamic setting.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS & ACLS certifications; PALS preferred; COVID vaccine required; additional certifications such as NIHSS beneficial; 2 years of ICU experience; proficiency in ICP monitoring and vent management; experience with trauma patients; no minimum experience requirement explicitly listed but candidates are expected to have substantial ICU experience.
• Schedule: 12-hour days, every other weekend, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, strong team collaboration skills, and adaptability to unit needs are essential. Self-scheduling is under review, and the unit supports interventional radiology procedures. Travelers must be prepared for a challenging workload and positive team interactions.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must be licensed to practice and able to submit necessary documentation. The role includes a proctored dysrhythmia test on day one, which is pass/fail.
