Pediatric Floor (PEDS) Asheville, NC
This position involves providing specialized nursing care on a pediatric unit with a focus on oncology. The role requires collaboration with a dedicated team to deliver quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, supporting pediatric patients and their families.
Job Details
- Position Description: Pediatric RN with experience in hospital pediatrics and oncology preferred.
- Required Qualifications: PALS, BLS certifications; no minimum years of experience required; location is Asheville, NC; scheduled for night shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Unit comprises 19 beds (13 pediatric, 6 oncology). Staff ratio varies between 1:3 to 1:5. Typical procedures include various pediatric and oncology care, with equipment such as Alaris pumps. Candidates should be detail-oriented and organized.
