Job Details

• Location: Portland, ME
• Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS certification, online education modules, 2 years of recent acute care experience in high acuity or cardiac units
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-acuity patients and cardiology; acute care or high acuity experience is a must
• Responsibilities: Providing patient care for high acuity and cardiology patients, including IV therapy, wound management, telemetry monitoring, and collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Additional Information: The unit has a capacity of 44 beds, including some overflow and embedded IMC beds. Patient ratios are typically 1:4-5 during the day and 1:5-6 at night. The environment is fast-paced, requiring flexibility and team collaboration.
