Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for the designated healthcare provider.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS Certification, ACLS Certification, and a minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience.
• Responsibilities include performing patient assessments within 8 hours of admission, updating the interdisciplinary team regularly, documenting all patient interactions accurately, and participating in patient rehabilitation programs. The RN will also initiate discharge planning, provide patient education, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Provide direction and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel, delegate appropriately, and participate in team-building activities to foster a positive work environment.
• The candidate must demonstrate professionalism through ongoing development, effective time management, and cost-effective patient care.
• The role may require assuming charge responsibilities after orientation and supporting operational needs by maintaining supplies and equipment.
• Additional Information: The RN will collaborate closely with the healthcare team, advocate for patient safety, and contribute to a cohesive working environment throughout the assignment.
