Job Details

• Position Description: The Oncology Infusion registered nurse is a vital member of the cancer care team working in the infusion area. The role requires adherence to cancer care policies, nursing procedures, safety standards, and quality improvement objectives.
• Certifications/Education/Experience: Must have at least 2 years of chemotherapy administration experience, EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system experience, and ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration Certification.
• Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, minimum 32 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include assessment of health history, addressing physician orders, in-office procedures, patient & family education, chemotherapy administration, cancer symptom management, and patient monitoring. The RN will act as a communication conduit with patients, providing direct nursing care and triaging patient needs. The role requires applying clinical knowledge and judgment to analyze patient care issues and performing duties as assigned by the Cancer Care Director or Physician Services Senior Leader.
