Job Summary
The organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical nursing in a nights shift setting. This position involves managing a high-acuity Renal and Medical-Surgical unit, providing care to adult patients with acute and chronic kidney conditions, post-dialysis needs, and complex medical-surgical conditions. The nurse will deliver critical patient assessments, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

Certifications, Education, Degree, Location, and Experience Requirements: Ohio RN license (required at submission), current BLS certification, a minimum of 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry experience, and Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) proficiency are required.
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive nursing care to renal and medical-surgical patients, managing patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and post-dialysis needs, interpreting telemetry strips, and collaborating with nephrologists and interdisciplinary teams.
Additional Qualifications: Competency testing required on Day 1; failure results in immediate contract termination.
Candidates must meet all requirements at submission and demonstrate adaptability, efficiency, and critical thinking in a high-volume setting.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Submission Requirements: All documentation, including Epic proficiency, must be clearly documented at submission.
