Medical Surgical with Telemetry Nurse, MS TELE, is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. This role involves monitoring and managing patients with various medical conditions, utilizing advanced cardiac life support skills, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during night shifts.
Job Details
- Position Description: Medical Surgical with Telemetry Nurse providing care in a hospital environment, focusing on patients requiring telemetry monitoring.
- Required Qualifications: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience, graduate of an accredited nursing program, licensed registered nurse in the state where care is provided, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Basic arrhythmia recognition skills are required.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field.
- Additional Information: The role involves providing patient care within a hospital's medical surgical and telemetry units, adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards, and documenting care accurately and timely.
