Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Technologist position available in an acute care healthcare facility. This role involves supporting surgical teams across a variety of specialties, including vascular, neuro/neurohybrid, thoracic, robotics, transplant, general, orthopedic, hand, spine, podiatry, gynecology, and carotid/endovascular procedures. The role requires proficient technical skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth surgical operations.
Job Details
- Position Title: Operating Room (OR) Technologist
- Shift Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 10/26/2026
- End Date: 01/23/2027
- Required Qualifications: BLS certification, certified surgical technologist or circulating experience, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; candidates must have experience in at least one of the specialized clinical areas listed.
- Support within the Department: Managed by a dedicated RN and technician team, with support from management.
- Technology/Equipment: Usage of EMR systems, Plum ICU Medical IV pumps, Bovie, tourniquet, harmonic, OR beds, stretchers, and robotics (Da Vinci D5, robotics experience preferred but not required).
- Orientation: Full one-week NEO orientation, with specific shifts scheduled during orientation period.
- Additional Notes: Scrub color is Ceil Blue. Parking is free with badge access.
- Schedule: 40-minute response time on call; weekend and holiday rotations based on unit needs; RTO approval required; schedule cycle made in 6-week increments.
- Float: Float rotation may be required for relieving others for lunch breaks within the OR.
