Job Summary
A Labor and Delivery (L&D) registered nurse position located in the healthcare facility. This role involves caring for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients, including attending to deliveries, c-sections, and initial newborn assessments. The position requires providing high-quality maternal and neonatal care during night shifts.

Job Details

• Position Description: Provides nursing care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages, including overseeing deliveries, circulating c-sections, and assessing newborns.
• Required Qualifications: BLS certification; RN License in the state of employment or a compact license; current certification from one of the following: AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring Instructor, AWHONN Instructor Trainer, or National Certification Corporation (NCC) Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM); current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification; current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; experience requirement: 0 years.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: No floating required; weekend shifts included; role includes caring for patients in accordance with AWHONN standards with specific nurse/patient ratios based on acuity levels.
