Job Summary
Ambulatory Care Medical Surgical Skilled RN Traveler needed for a healthcare organization. The position involves providing in-person triage and direct patient care for patients with acute and chronic conditions in an outpatient setting. The role requires experience with telephone triage and telephone-based clinical assessment techniques.

Job Details

• Position Description: RN Traveler for the Department of Medicine Medical Specialties, with start dates of 10/19 or 11/2. Responsibilities include providing in-person triage and direct patient care for outpatient acute and chronic conditions, with a focus on ambulatory outpatient settings.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license/certificate verification; minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience (within 12 months) in in-person triage and direct patient care for acute and chronic conditions in an ambulatory outpatient setting; experience in telephone triage and clinical assessment techniques; at least 2 years of work experience; experience with General and/or Gastrointestinal surgical patient care.
• Schedule: 8 hours shifts, 40 hours per week, with start dates on 11/02/2026ending on 01/31/2027.
• Additional Information: Experience in ambulatory endocrinology, diabetes, or medical specialty practice, including administering injectable medications and providing medication-teaching visits, is strongly preferred. Experience with continuous glucose monitor (CGM) placement and education, insulin therapy management, and self-management education is strongly preferred.
