Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift Location: Not Specified
This position involves providing specialized nursing care to pediatric patients across various units within a pediatric healthcare facility. The role offers the opportunity to work float between units, supporting interdisciplinary teams, and delivering high-quality patient care in a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.

Job Details

Position Description: 1-year experience preferred; pediatric experience highly desirable. Will perform float between units as needed.
Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required.
Education Requirements: No specific degree requirements listed.
Location Requirements: Compact license in hand at submission; within 50 miles of the healthcare facility.
Years of Experience: Minimum 0 years, with preference for at least 1 year.
Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Skills: BiPAP/CPAP management, breastfeeding support/handling of breast milk, central line/implanted line care, feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), hyperbilirubinemia, interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, management of dysrhythmias, oxygen delivery systems, pediatric MedSurg unit skills.
Additional Responsibilities: Provide nursing care to adolescents, infants, and pediatrics with a daily census of 27 patients. May be required to work holidays as specified and assist with interdisciplinary support such as respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy.
Submission Requirements: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years; response to candidate history with Providence facilities if applicable.
