Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Not specified. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for critically ill patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The role emphasizes providing high-quality, patient-centered care within a fast-paced ICU environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: This role requires the ability to assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs. It involves reviewing patient history and physicals, lab results, and diagnostics, and evaluating all data pertinent to critical patient care.
• Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or a compact license, with BLS and ACLS certifications required. The candidate should have related clinical experience, preferably in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The nurse will provide direct patient care, monitor patient responses, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with policies and standards. Responsibilities also include participating in ongoing education, quality improvement initiatives, and mentoring colleagues, where applicable.
