Job Summary
PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) registered nurse in the Great Falls area. This position involves providing specialized care for adult and pediatric patients in the Pre-Operative, Post-Anesthesia, and Procedural settings. The role requires proficiency in patient recovery following a variety of surgical and diagnostic procedures, including cases in orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, urology, gynecology, general surgery, plastics, endocrinology, ophthalmology, and catheterization procedures.
Job Details
- Position Description: PreOp/PACU/Pre-post Cardiac Catheterization and Procedural RN must be proficient in recovering adults and pediatrics. Responsibilities include caring for patients undergoing diverse surgical procedures in a dynamic healthcare environment. Call and holiday work are required.
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support). No minimum experience required.
- Schedule: Shift is days, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Must be flexible with schedule to accommodate the needs of the department.
