Job Details

• Position Description: Providing nursing care in a 30-bed unit with 22 acute care beds and 8 stepdown beds, focusing on stroke and neuro stepdown patients.
• Certifications: BLS for Acute Care, BLS and ACLS for Neuro Stepdown.
• Education & Experience: No minimum years of experience required, with a focus on strong acute care nursing skills and time management.
• Location Requirements: The role is based at a facility with specific unit protocols and policies, including the use of Meditech documentation.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours, minimum 36 hours per week, with weekend shifts required.
• Required Qualifications: Strong acute care nursing skills, neuro stepdown experience preferred, ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Additional Information: Floating policy permits experienced nurses to float after orientation; procedures commonly performed include lumbar puncture and chest tube placement.
