Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN position available at a healthcare provider in an acute care hospital. The role involves attending high-risk deliveries, providing neonatal resuscitation, and managing critically ill neonates in a Level III NICU setting. The assignment is scheduled to start on October 19, 2026, and ends on January 18, 2027.

Job Details

• Certifications and Experience: BLS, NRP certifications required; at least 1 year of NICU experience and a compact license must be in hand at submission.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Patient Care Responsibilities: Attend deliveries, perform neonatal resuscitation, manage oxygen delivery systems, administer medications including antibiotics and antivirals, monitor APGAR scores, handle chest tubes, and provide developmental care.
• Additional Job Information: Must be able to attend high-risk deliveries, including deliveries that qualify for NICU assistance. Candidates should be flexible to work three out of five major holidays and commit to the scheduled shift.
• Submission Requirements: Candidate must include references covering at least one year within the last three years, and answer whether they have prior experience at a Providence facility along with details if applicable.
