Job Details

Position Description: This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice. It is responsible for ensuring the quality of nursing services delivered by self or colleagues, utilizing specialized knowledge and judgment.
Required Qualifications: Current, valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, BLS certification, and experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months. Minimum of 1 year experience as an RN in specialty areas, such as labor and delivery.
Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: The role involves direct patient care in the labor and delivery department, including assessment, planning, coordination, and supervision of nursing activities. It may include participating in unit or facility shared leadership and mentorship activities.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing and professional certification related to maternal-child health are preferred.
