Labor and Delivery Nurse in en_US This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the labor and delivery department. The position requires utilizing specialized knowledge and skills to ensure high-quality care tailored to the physical and developmental needs of mothers and newborns in a hospital setting.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification is required, and experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred. The candidate should have at least 0 years of experience.
  • Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, formulating individualized care plans, providing direct care and monitoring patient progress, documenting care accurately, and participating in patient and family education.
  • Additional Information: Effective communication skills are essential for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The role involves direct patient care in a direct care environment, with physical demands including the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to patient needs.
