Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: unspecified. This role involves providing specialized care for neonatal patients in a pediatric trauma center. The position requires flexible float capabilities between units and offers a challenging environment for experienced nurses committed to delivering high-quality care to vulnerable patient populations.

Job Details

  • Position Description: WNTR BLOCK 1ST TIMERS - LEVEL III NICU RN. The nurse will position float between units as needed and provide clinical expertise in neonatal patient care.
  • Required Qualifications: Two or more years of NICU experience, level III experience preferred, BLS, NRP certifications, and a valid license in the designated state.
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must have experience with blood and blood products, high-level airway management, NICU-specific procedures including ventilator management, and electronic charting using Epic. The role involves working with neonatal patients from 29 to 34 weeks gestation, with a daily census of approximately 35. Flexibility to float between units is required. The assignment is scheduled to begin on 11/02/2026 and extend through 05/03/2027.
  • Submission Requirements: Applicants must include responses to specific questions regarding previous employment at Providence facilities and provide two references covering the past three years.
