Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse - Healthcare Facility - 11/02/2026 to 01/30/2027
This position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in a large Level I Trauma center. The OR Nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with hospital policies and professional nursing standards. The role requires experience in the operating room setting, with a focus on trauma and surgical procedures.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or a compact RN licensure. BLS certification is required. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience as an OR RN and previous travel experience in an acute care or surgical setting. Experience in a Level I Trauma center is preferred.
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday; trauma call: 6 shifts in a 4-week schedule period, including 2 shifts from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., 2 shifts from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m., and 2 weekend shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Requires scrubbing and circulating duties within the operating room environment. The role involves working in a high-volume Level I Trauma center, handling trauma cases and surgical procedures.
