Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse Location: Not Specified. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care in the surgical environment. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with the surgical team, and ensuring adherence to organizational policies and professional standards of nursing practice.

Job Details

• Position Description: This role involves providing direct patient care, coordinating activities within the operating room, delegating tasks, and supervising other licensed nurses and personnel. The nurse will review patient health information, develop and revise care plans, and ensure proper documentation and communication throughout perioperative care.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification, and at least two years of experience as an operating room registered nurse. Previous travel experience is required.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, with shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and no call requirements.
• Additional Information: Candidates should have scrub and circulate experience, with a minimum of two years in the operating room. Experience in a Level I Trauma center is preferred.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must demonstrate the ability to meet the clinical competencies required for the specialty and adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
