Job Summary
Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) This position is based at the healthcare organization, offering a 13-week contract. The role involves working evening shifts, focusing on decontamination, sterilization, and case cart processes in a trauma center environment. The position emphasizes independence, flexibility, and adherence to certification standards.

Job Details

• Shift Time: Rotating
• Schedule: Evening shift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week from 10/12/2026 to 01/11/2027
• Certifications: CBSP or HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM certification) required
• Education Requirements: Relevant certification in sterile processing or equivalent required
• Qualifications: Experience working in a trauma center environment preferred; minimum of 0 years of experience; proven ability to work independently with minimal orientation
• Additional Information: There will be up to 36 hours of call off available to the facility at no cost during the course of the assignment. Candidates must ensure compliance with requested start date; submissions with start dates more than 2 weeks after the requested start date will be automatically declined. Minimal or no requested time off during the assignment; willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends is required.
