Job Summary
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nursing position is available within the surgical ICU at a healthcare facility. This role involves caring for postoperative ICU patients, including trauma, gastrointestinal surgery, orthopedic/neuro spine procedures, transplant, vascular, surgical ENT, and general surgery patients. The position offers an opportunity to work in a diverse adult ICU environment, providing critical care for a wide range of surgical patients.
Job Details
- Position: ICU Nurse Surgical ICU
- Location: [Healthcare Facility's Generic Location]
- Shift: Days, 12 hours shift, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS), 2 years of current surgical ICU experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Critical Care Certification, trauma course, Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system proficiency, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Additional Information: Orientation occurs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month. Previous employment within any Johns Hopkins health facilities must be disclosed and verified. Float rotation may be required.
