Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a Critical Access Hospital setting. This position involves delivering high-quality acute care to patients in med/surg, outpatient, and emergency department units, working closely with a team of experienced healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Position Description:
  The ER Nurse works alongside another registered nurse to care for patients across medical-surgical, outpatient, and emergency departments. Responsibilities include performing RN procedures such as IV starts and foley catheter placements. Equipment used includes EPIC electronic health records, Philips central monitor/telemetry, and Lifepak 15 defibrillators.
• Required Qualifications:
  Active Compact or South Dakota State Licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications, with a minimum of three years' experience in emergency or med/surg settings, including critical access hospital experience preferred.
• Schedule:
  Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 01/18/2027.
• Additional Information:
  Orientation is tailored and may include up to one week of training. The candidate must be able to work in the emergency room as a charge nurse or be flexible to float across units. All nurses are expected to work in navy scrubs.
• Submission Requirements:
  All candidates must badge in and out at the facility, and must hold an active license to submit.
